Hey! If you are reading the 1 Corinthians....go to chapter 7. Have a look at how Paul tells the people in the congregation not to get married and raise a family.....becasue the and o the world was so near. It is still the same bullshit as it was some 1950 years ago.

Besides... the writing in Peter "2 Pet 3:3, 4: "For YOU know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4?and saying: "Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], all things are continuing exactly as from creation's beginning."...was made vera late, probably around AD 130-150. Probably a lot of christians got tired of waiting for the coming.

New Stupid Assembly Rules
by WTWizard ini have heard on this discussion board numerous rules that apply to upcoming a$$emblies.
some are designed to stop people from meeting the opposite sex; others, to make sure everyone is always ready to recruit new members into the scam.
i heard that some km inserts have been urging those whose congregation has cleaning assignments to sit in the section that they are assigned to clean.

That's an interesting observation. Sometimes it looks lake the organisation is doing it's best to scare young people away by making them bored. A lot of other churches have activities for young people, but the org has absolutley nothing. Young peaple are looked upon as a problem....they might like to meet each orhers and have som fun........and that might lead to fornication. So, no nice activities for young people.

i am currently awake and have no plans to fade, in my case i am patient enough to in time become an elder to at least help the younger friends here in my area, in the sense of helping them wake up/if elder have their back..

I play in a big band, in a smaller jazz/folk group, and in a cover band. But when I left the org I started out as a chorch singer, and I also have sung in a couple of opera productions, but that was a lot of years ago.
